About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, patient and visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that need attention.
Monitor access points and observe activity in lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help to support authorized access and report security-related issues.
Complete routine reports, document incidents, and relay important information during shift changes to help to support continuity of operations.
