As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points and personnel with professional communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting details to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Control access at designated entrances by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing deliveries and contractors to appropriate check-in locations per site procedures.
• Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and pass-down notes, and communicate observations to oncoming personnel per post orders.
