Security Officer - Patrol Driver FT
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Millersburg, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy packaging and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine checks, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site contacts and visitors, document observations, and respond to calls for service with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal Driver Policy Requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and warehouse location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including production floors, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes, documenting observations as required.
- Monitor access points and visitor and/or contractor activity, verifying identification and following entry and exit procedures to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate notable conditions to supervisors and/or client representatives, and assist with basic traffic and/or delivery flow as needed.
