Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Specialist in Gibbstown, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related events, inspections, and/or incidents in assigned reports.
  • Support posted orders and location rules while communicating with site personnel, visitors, and/or first responders during routine operations and unusual events.
