Join Allied Universal at a high-tech aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, completing routine foot and vehicle patrols and staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or incidents, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication and detailed reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, backed by a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.
Requirements
- Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, work areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with emergency response activities as directed.
- Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials when required, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
- Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
