About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Crestview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help verify entry authorization for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site protocols and sensitive location requirements.
• Support Allied Universal and location leadership with routine inspections, incident reports, and/or follow-up on security-related matters while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
