About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Response in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Our Residential Patrol Officer helps monitor and patrol a residential community by vehicle and on foot, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. In this driving post, you will respond to concerns, document activity, and support residents and guests with a caring, professional approach that reflects Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, residential community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while reporting security-related activity according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and note unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry points and community areas, assist with visitor and/or vendor access procedures, and communicate relevant observations to property management and/or designated contacts.
  • Document incidents, daily activities, and property observations in written reports while maintaining professional communication with residents, guests, and Allied Universal leadership.
