About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Response in West Chester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor directions, escort requests, and other security-related support needs.
Support a professional environment by communicating with staff and/or emergency personnel during incidents, policy questions, and routine security-related matters.
