As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication. You will document observations, support access control, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. A valid driver’s license is required.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, tenants, vendors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the campus, office areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access control points and other security-related systems, verify identification and/or authorization, and assist with visitor check-in/check-out and directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, medical calls, and/or property concerns, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
