About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Lead in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol professional in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will use teamwork, integrity, and a people-first mindset while responding to concerns, documenting activity, and contributing to a reliable and professional presence throughout the community.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Candidates must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe conditions.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or resident concerns while maintaining detailed, accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
