About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Lead in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support access control activities while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Support site operations by communicating clearly with visitors, employees, contractors, and/or first responders during routine activities and unexpected events.
