About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Industrial in Roanoke, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a secure environment, while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
Remain alert to potential security-related risks specific to a manufacturing and industrial setting, and follow protocols as directed.
