As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Government Facility in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will maintain a visible presence, respond to situations as needed, and interact with the public in a professional manner. This position requires driving, so you will be responsible for operating vehicles during patrols. Requirements

• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and address security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public to provide assistance and information as required.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or activities through written reports and logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
