About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Financial Site in Sandston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence for customers and employees. Your role will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, responding promptly to situations as they arise, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position requires driving as part of your patrol responsibilities.

Requirements

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or have equivalent experience.
• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any unusual circumstances.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to support security-related objectives and provide assistance as needed.
• Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points within the location.
