Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance, access control, and other property-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas for unusual activity, assist with access-related questions, and support site rules and visitor expectations in a professional manner.
Complete routine reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, and daily observations, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or onsite contacts regarding security-related matters.
