As a Security Officer Patrol Coverage in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a hotel and resort environment.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, guest common areas, hallways, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity across the location, and document security-related incidents, disturbances, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support a welcoming atmosphere by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or service disruptions to the appropriate personnel.
