Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Clearance Required in Crestview, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. At an aerospace and defense location, Allied Universal officers conduct routine unarmed patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support site awareness through strong customer service and communication. Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required communication and documentation processes.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify potential concerns, policy violations, and/or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and help verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols for restricted areas, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors.
- Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or designated personnel during alarms, medical situations, evacuations, or other security-related events.
