You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, verify access points, and document observations with clear communication. Requirements
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, directing visitors and/or deliveries per site procedures, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
- Complete security-related reports and documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift pass-downs, and communicate observed hazards and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
