As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer supporting a busy logistics and distribution location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support daily operations through teamwork, and act with integrity while making a real impact.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, shipping, receiving, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and/or drivers, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, damaged equipment, and/or policy violations.
  • Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing trailer yards, freight movement areas, and high-traffic zones, then reporting concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
