As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a smooth daily operation through strong customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, docks, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, and deliveries while following post orders related to entry points, restricted areas, and credential checks.
- Support loss prevention and security-related operations by observing site activity, assisting with incident reporting, and communicating clearly with site leadership and/or local responders when needed.
