As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the store, sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, report suspicious behavior, and/or document incidents according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support asset protection efforts by observing high-traffic areas, assisting with access and queue management, and/or communicating with store leadership regarding security-related concerns.
