About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an unarmed patrol professional. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity, you will play an important part in daily operations and help people feel supported throughout the location.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, and verify credentials, manifests, and/or site access requirements in accordance with post instructions.
Support daily operations by documenting incidents, observing package flow and vehicle movement, and communicating security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
