Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Alarm Panel Operator in North Hollywood, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and site contacts while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and tenant concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and notifying site contacts and/or appropriate responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, parking areas, stairwells, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor building activity and observe for irregular conditions, reporting security-related and/or property-related issues through required reports, logs, and communication channels.
• Support the protection of property and assets by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with visitor direction, and following post orders for key control, delivery handling, and other site routines.
