About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Specialist in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong customer service, clear communication, and a people-first approach grounded in teamwork, reliability, agility, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and contractors, and verify credentials, deliveries, and/or visitor access in accordance with site protocols.
Support order at the location by observing equipment areas, restricted spaces, and high-traffic operations areas, and communicating unusual conditions or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
