About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, while assisting with visitor direction and general information requests.
Support a professional environment by observing for potential hazards, disruptions, and/or policy violations and communicating appropriate information for follow-up.
