Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access activity, respond to site needs, and deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verify credentials when required, and communicate clearly with site representatives regarding security-related matters.
Support loss prevention and operational awareness efforts by observing shipping, receiving, and high-traffic areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
