As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting with evacuation or lockdown procedures when necessary.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during shifts.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures to promote a welcoming and secure environment for all individuals at the location.
