As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders as needed during emergency or incident response.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures, adapting to the unique needs of a healthcare location.
