As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and assisting visitors and staff. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Have access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
Screen individuals entering the location to help identify and address potential risks or prohibited items, following established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises to help maintain a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual circumstances.
Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities, submitting reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency personnel to support the overall security-related needs of the location.
