As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the location.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols and directions from Allied Universal management or site leadership.
Document and report any observed incidents, irregularities, or security-related concerns according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
Support healthcare staff and visitors by providing information and assistance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
