Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional service and communication. Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with hospital personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site procedures.
Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, de-escalating tense situations when appropriate, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
