As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and routine patrols. Requirements

• Must have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and the public.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, visitors, and local authorities as needed.
• Document all incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and timely as required by site procedures.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client.
