As a Screener at a leading tech location, you will welcome team members and visitors, support entry screening and access procedures, and watch for security-related concerns at key checkpoints. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and responders. Requirements
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to onsite employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Support entry screening operations at a tech-focused location by verifying credentials, managing access points, and directing people to the appropriate check-in and/or screening area.
- Monitor screening lanes and surrounding areas for prohibited items or unusual activity, using approved equipment and established protocols, and escalate concerns through the chain of command.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and documentation.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, maintain accurate log entries, and communicate shift updates to onsite leadership and/or the next shift.
