Additionally, employees can pick-up extra shifts through a scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites, allowing for part-time hours one week and potentially full-time the next. This position is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and other security-related policies for a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to the property, offices, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate activity, visitor, and incident logs, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the lobby, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
