As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams, greet visitors with strong customer service, and document observations using site systems. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have a state, county, or city issued security license, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points and vehicle traffic, verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in and/or badge processes, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries per site requirements.
  • Complete reports and maintain logs of patrol activity, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate status updates to supervision and/or site management as required.
