Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet shoppers and staff, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with your team while documenting observations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or tenants by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation and coordinating with site contacts and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, entrances, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues; complete required written reports and incident documentation in a timely manner.
• Assist with access control and crowd management during peak shopping hours and/or special events, including observing for theft-related behaviors and supporting loss prevention partners when requested.
