As a Screener with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, verify credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will stay visible, document activity, communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, and provide professional customer service. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Operate designated entry screening processes for a logistics and distribution location, including checking identification, verifying access authorization, and screening persons and items in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic at access points, coordinate with site contacts on delivery and pickup activity, and document access activity using logs and/or electronic systems.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify security-related concerns, and report maintenance or operational issues observed.
