Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and/or petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access points and visitor activity. You will communicate clearly with site teams, document observations, and respond to routine requests with a customer-first mindset. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and assigned post orders at a chemical processing location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter fencing, gates, loading areas, and critical equipment zones, watching for unusual activity and/or hazards to property.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing vehicles and deliveries to designated areas per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and/or emergency response activities as required by site procedures.
- Complete routine and incident reports, document observations accurately, and communicate key information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
