As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support day-to-day operations by observing activity, documenting findings, and communicating clearly with site personnel and visitors. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, including docks, yards, trailer rows, parking areas and building perimeter as permitted by location requirements.
• Control access for employees, visitors and vendors by verifying identification, assisting with sign-in processes and directing traffic flow for deliveries and pickups.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and other security-related systems and report irregular activity, damaged doors or gates and other conditions that could impact operations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing reports and notifying site management and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
