Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and/or vehicle activity, and following post orders for deliveries and departures.
• Support security-related operations at a logistics and distribution location by observing trailer yards, reporting operational concerns, and completing required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation.
