As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist tenants and visitors with courteous customer service. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and escalate concerns as needed. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific post orders, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observed traffic flow as assigned, assisting with visitor management, after-hours entry verification, and/or directing individuals to proper points of contact.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicating security-related concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
