As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and your Allied Universal team. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access control points including gates, doors, and loading dock activity; verify credentials and visitor purpose per site policy and direct deliveries to designated locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required and assist with scene control until relieved.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs on patrol activity, access events, incidents, and maintenance concerns; communicate observations to the client and Allied Universal management.
