As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will control access points, report hazards and unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while providing strong customer service. Requirements
- Possess a TSA Issued TWIC.
- A State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, tank farms, docks and/or loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that should be reported.
- Monitor and control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification and authorizations, documenting entries and exits, and directing vehicles and pedestrians according to site rules.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuations, alarms, and/or shelter-in-place directions as outlined by post orders.
- Complete routine reports and activity logs, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and escalate maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations through the appropriate channels.
