As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government museum location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff, support a welcoming visitor experience, and communicate clearly with your team. Requirements
- Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government museum location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of galleries, offices, storage areas, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor direction and queue management during peak attendance and special events.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, alarms, and/or property-related concerns, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
- Complete detailed reports, document patrol activity and incidents, and communicate notable conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
