As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will engage shoppers and associates with professional customer service, clear communication, and prompt assistance when concerns arise. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, associates, and vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, loading areas, and parking areas to help to deter theft, trespass, and other unwanted activity.
Monitor for suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and potential hazards, and report observations to site leadership and/or dispatch in accordance with post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd control and supporting loss prevention and/or management as directed.
Complete required reports, log entries, and incident documentation, and communicate key information during shift transitions to support consistent security-related coverage.
