Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Possess a guard card.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter issues.
Monitor access points and respond to access control alarms and/or CCTV activity as assigned, assisting with visitor direction, authorized entry processes, and policy reminders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership, local emergency services, and/or internal response teams as needed.
Complete detailed incident documentation and daily activity reports, communicate observations to supervisors and client representatives, and support security-related operations such as escorts, lost and found handling, and de-escalation support.
