Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support order, assist with crowd-related concerns, and address unauthorized or suspicious activity in accordance with site policies.
• Assist with security-related interactions involving guests, deliveries, and/or retail personnel while helping to maintain a professional presence and supporting a welcoming environment.
