As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, and support access points while documenting security-related activity. You will interact with employees and visitors using clear, professional communication and a customer-first mindset. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access through gates and/or designated entry points, verifying identification and visitor purpose, directing deliveries to approved areas, and helping to maintain orderly traffic flow.
  • Complete routine reports and shift documentation, including patrol findings, incident reports, and equipment observations, and communicate pass-down information to oncoming personnel.
