As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering standout customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and post orders at a tech and media location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disputes, medical situations, and/or suspicious activity, and request assistance as needed.
• Monitor entry points and common areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization when required, and communicate directions and policy reminders in a professional manner.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate pertinent information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
