As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control and badging, and provide clear, professional customer service to employees and visitors. You will document observations, communicate concerns quickly, and partner with site teams to support daily operations. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting the appropriate internal teams and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including interior spaces, common areas, entrances and/or the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras and/or access points as assigned, help to deter unauthorized entry, and assist with visitor management and badge or credential verification per site policy.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate key information during shift turnover, and escalate unusual activity through the established chain of command.
